I won’t lie. I am the proud owner of several serums. Every serum has its own purposes and targets my specific skincare concerns, but the ultimate goal is to deliver highly potent and powerful ingredients into the skin. So what are my skin care concern? In my mid-thirties, my skin is starting to look dull and uneven, certainly sun spots are starting to plague around the higher points of my cheek bone and even around the eyes, light wrinkles are starting to form, and then there is the monthly hormonal cystic acne….sigh…
I recently added Purito Vitamin C and Snail serum to combat some of these issues. All of Purito serums contain a mix of functional ingredients like niacinamide, vitamin C and fermented ingredients, along with botanical extract and essential oil. For dull complexion, sun spots and acne prone skin, I am forever dependent on a good vitamin C serum. This powerful antioxidant helps to protect the skin, reduce inflammation, enhance skin’s repair process and increase collagen. Of course, hydration is the key to supple and youthful skin, so the snail filtrate combined with hyaluronic acid serum provides me with the ultimate moisture retention, while niacinamide improve skin elasticity, and increase ceramides level and strengthen skin barrier.
All the serums are 10 free system which mean they are free from paraben, Ethanol, surfactant, artificial colorant, artificial fragrance, triethanolamine, phthalein, triclosan, petrochemicals, and benzoyl.

WHY I LOVE IT
Snail Slime is known to deliver rich hydration and soothe troubled skin. It also carries antioxidant component that brighten complexion and reduce signs of wrinkles. This serum is really a multi-purpose serum. It flaunts natural botanical ingredients like cucucumber, camellia, apple and aloe that protect and soften the skin. It smells great, texture is like lighter than most serum, unlike most ‘snail’ or ‘mucin’ serums. It glides very easily over my skin and has a lovely silky texture that I am a huge fan of. The texture is one of my favorite things. It makes the serum super fast to apply without tugging at my skin. It also leaves no stickiness and has no detectable scent. It moisturizes without being too heavy, and really wake up and smooth the skin.

WHY I LOVE IT
An antioxidant serum is a powerful addition to any anti-aging routine, especially when it comes to minimize sun damage and spots, as well as to prevent wrinkles and provide skin protection. Vitamin C is the creme de la creme of antioxidants. It is typically used to improve the overall appearance and texture of skin – especially hyper pigmentation, and counteract damage caused by age and sun exposure. As a result, I incorporate a vitamin C product both in my morning and night time routine. The Purito vitamin C combines pure ascorbic acid with a balanced blend of ingredients including: arginine, aloe vera and collagen. Each of these ingredients work in conjunction to help in reducing signs of aging, including reversing the effect of sun damage, tightening sagging skin and prevent onset of other age-related skin troubles. This unique blend is designed to dramatically increase collagen production in the skin, giving it a more ‘plumped’ up youthful appearance.
The serum comes in a plastic opaque bottle. The product is very thin, texture and color resemble that of my most beloved Skinceutical Phloretin C&F. Similar in effect, it does help to keep my complexion bright, and skin tight and smooth. It also helps to fade acne scars and reduce pore size. However, I do find that it can be irritating especially when used on treated skin. When I use it, it still tingles a bit upon application and cause slight redness that settles within a few minutes. I have not noticed prolonged discomfort or adverse effect, as long as I am careful on not using this product too soon after a peel or laser treatment. Your experiences may be different. I feel that certainly this is an affordable and effective option for vitamin C serum, that’s packed with anti-aging power.
